Great practice gives rise to a great spirit, and a great spirit in turn propels great undertakings. Recently, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the symposium on advancing the all-round revitalization of Northeast China in the new era that we must vigorously carry forward the spirit of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army, the Daqing Spirit (the “Iron Man” Spirit), and the Beidahuang Spirit, so as to guide Party members and cadres in cultivating a correct outlook on political achievements and to inspire their enthusiasm for work and entrepreneurship. He also stressed the need to firmly grasp the important mission of Northeast China in safeguarding the nation’s “five major securities.” In this new era and on this new journey, to effectively safeguard national security, we must inherit the red gene and carry forward the red lineage, drawing from the spirit of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army, the Daqing Spirit (the “Iron Man” Spirit), and the Beidahuang Spirit the vigorous momentum needed to forge ahead in our endeavors.

The Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army Spirit, the Daqing Spirit (the “Iron Man” Spirit), and the Beidahuang Spirit are all vital components of the Communist Party of China’s spiritual lineage, embodying the “spiritual code” that has enabled the Party to lead the people in repeatedly creating miracles. The heroic ethos, indomitable fighting spirit, and drive for self-improvement they encapsulate are powerful manifestations of the Chinese national spirit. As we move forward, we must consciously draw upon these great spirits to temper our character and forge a resolute determination to strive ahead, thereby igniting our passion for work and entrepreneurship.
