YZGGBC Series High-Voltage Automatic Reactive Power Compensation Device
Case Description
Structural Features
1. The device shall be capable of long-term operation under a steady-state overvoltage of 1.1 times the rated operating voltage;
2. The device shall be capable of continuous operation under overcurrent conditions where the root-mean-square value does not exceed 1.3 times the rated current of the capacitor bank.
3. The device employs vacuum contactors for switching, enabling frequent operation;
4. Each capacitor bank is equipped with a discharge coil that reduces the residual voltage to below 50 V within 5 seconds.
5. Each capacitor bank may be protected by a relay or a microprocessor-based protection and control unit, providing overcurrent protection, voltage imbalance protection, undervoltage protection, and overvoltage protection for the bank. When a fault occurs in a particular capacitor bank, that bank can be disconnected without affecting the operation of the other banks.
6. Each individual capacitor is protected by a rupture-type fuse and a surge arrester for overvoltage protection;
7. Each group can be equipped with reactors to suppress inrush currents during switching or to mitigate harmonic amplification.
