YB Series Prefabricated Substation

Product Overview: The YB series prefabricated substation (commonly referred to as the “European-style substation”) is a type of prefabricated substation in which the high-voltage switchgear, power transformer, and low-voltage switchgear are compactly integrated within a single enclosure according to a specified wiring configuration. This product series features a small footprint, minimal land occupation, a compact structure, an aesthetically pleasing design, convenient maintenance, a short production, installation, and commissioning cycle, no need for dedicated on-site personnel, and high economic efficiency. In particular, it can be located close to the load center, playing a crucial role in improving power supply quality, reducing energy losses, enhancing the safety and reliability of the power supply system, and facilitating the renovation of distribution networks. In addition to complying with the relevant standards for each individual component, this product series also meets the GB/T 17467 standard, “Prefabricated High-Voltage/Low-Voltage Substations.”

Product Features

The cabinet frame of this product series is constructed from channel steel and angle steel, providing high mechanical strength and enabling whole-unit lifting and transportation.
The enclosure can be fabricated from stainless steel sheet, color-coated composite panel, glass-fiber-reinforced cement, or other materials as specified by the customer. The product boasts an elegant and sophisticated appearance, along with excellent corrosion resistance, thermal insulation, and noise reduction properties.
Each compartment is separated from the others by partitions to form independent small rooms, and the transformer room is equipped with an automated condensation-prevention temperature-controlled ventilation system.
To facilitate monitoring and maintenance, lighting fixtures are installed in the transformer room, low-voltage room, and high-voltage room.
