XGN-12 SF6 Gas-Insulated Metal-Enclosed Ring Main Unit

SF6 switchgear is suitable for 10 kV, 50/60 Hz AC distribution systems and is widely used in urban grid construction and renovation projects, as well as in industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, and public facilities. As a ring-main unit and terminal device, it performs power distribution, control, and protection of electrical equipment; it can also be installed in packaged substations, forming a fully sealed system in which all live components and switches are enclosed within a stainless-steel enclosure. The entire switchgear is unaffected by external environmental conditions, thereby ensuring operational reliability and personal safety while eliminating the need for maintenance.

Case Description

Structural Features

1. The gas-insulated switchgear consists of the following five compartments: switch–busbar compartment, operating mechanism compartment, fuse compartment, cable compartment, and pressure-relief compartment!

2. The busbar compartment is located at the top of the cabinet, and the busbars run continuously through the entire row of switchgear.

3. The load switch shall be an SF6 load switch with a top-mounted unit;

4. Spacious cable compartment; bottom cable exit supports unshielded cable termination, making installation simple and convenient.

5. The mechanism is equipped with a spring-operated operating mechanism and mechanical interlocking devices, ensuring simple and reliable operation.
