KYN61 Series Metal-Clad Withdrawable Switchgear

The KYN61-40.5 type AC metal-enclosed switchgear and control equipment (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear) is an indoor, complete set of power distribution equipment for three-phase AC systems at 50 Hz and a rated voltage of 40.5 kV. It is used in substations and industrial and mining enterprises for the reception and distribution of electrical energy, providing circuit control, protection, and monitoring functions, and is also suitable for applications involving frequent switching operations. This switchgear complies with standards such as GB/T 11022-1999, GB 3906-2006, and DL 404-1997, and incorporates the international standard IEC 62271-2000:2003.

Case Description

Structural Features

1. The cabinet structure is modular, and the circuit breaker adopts a handcart-on-floor design.

2. Equipped with a brand-new composite-insulated vacuum circuit breaker, featuring excellent interchangeability and simple replacement.

3. The handcart frame is equipped with a lead-screw-and-nut actuation mechanism, which allows the handcart to be moved easily and prevents damage to the actuation mechanism caused by improper operation.

4. All operations can be performed with the cabinet door closed;

5. The interlocks among the main switch, handcart, and switchgear door all employ mandatory mechanical locking to meet the “five-protection” requirements.

6. The cable compartment offers ample space, allowing for the connection of multiple cables;

7. The rapid grounding switch is used for grounding and circuit short-circuiting;

8. The enclosure has an IP3X protection rating; when the handcart compartment door is open, the protection rating is IP2X.
